Sportbikegurls.com, an internet motorcycle community of Sportbike Riders is holding it's First Annual Rally at Fontana Village in North Carolina to Benefit Breast Cancer Research.
Although only six months old, membership for Sportbikegurls has reached 2000 members and claims to be one of the fastest growing communities on the web. Founded in August of 2007, organization's primary goal is to promote safety, knowledge and women in sportbike riding while developing a sense of community among both male and female riders encompassing all age groups.
In the last ten years women riders have nearly doubled, currently making up about 10 percent of the riding population and 25 percent of all new motorcycle sales purchases. SportbikeGurls strives provide women from all over the country a place where they can feel comfortable talking about the common interest of motorcycles.
Members from all over the country will be converging on Deals Gap in North Carolina for the First Annual Rally will be a 2 day event featuring a BBQ and ride along the famous Tail of the Dragon ride.
